These trees are so popular that the farm sells its entire inventory each holiday season. We asked owners Roger and Linda Callnan how this happened in a down economy. “It is our belief that in a down economy, people seek some sense of security and a real Christmas tree with its smell and feel can help bring back memories of a better time in their life. We also believe in these hard times, families want to try to pass that feeling of security and memories of a real Christmas with a real tree. We try to keep our prices in line with what people can afford and hope that when times are better, the favor can be repaid.”
Roger and Linda are the third generation of family members to work the farm. Their children and grandchildren also work there, making 5 generations of Callnan Christmas tree caretakers.
